Catholic School students in grades 2, and 7/8 (only) who are being prepared for Penance , Eucharist and Confirmation in school are NOT required to attend the workshop retreats, you are, however, more than invited to attend, and it would probably be a good idea to attend the first one. (There is only One for Penance with practice at the end of the workshop). You must make the scheduled practice. Mark your calendars!
Parents must attend the Parent Meeting for the Sacrament.
Please pick up a bulletin for needed information.
It is standard policy for the reception of First Holy Communion, First Reconciliation, and Confirmation to be in the home parish no matter what school the child is attending. Legitimate exceptions are processed through the pastor, Fr. Heron.
Let us remember…. the celebration of the Eucharist is the summit of our identity as the People of God. Attendance at Sunday Mass is vital to the life of the community at St. Matthew’s. Hope to see you there every Sunday!!!
